What is Strange Journeys?
Strange Journeys is a bi-weekly paranormal livestream on Facebook & YouTube designed to entertain our audience by sharing our love of the strange, unusual, unique and paranormal while involving them in the process. And, in no way, spurning or dismissing personal beliefs in the process. We will focus on different topics each episode, having a ’round-table’ discussion with each team member sharing their experience and point of view. There will be special guests at times sharing and discussing their area of experience and/or expertise.
Strange Journeys History
Several years ago, founder and creator of Strange Journeys, Tom Rouse, worked for a national haunted tour company as a haunted tour guide in Mobile, Alabama (joined by his wife, Lynn), Eastern Regional Manager and National Training Manager. When that company folded, Tom was given permission to continue the tour that he had created for the company. The first thing he did was change the name to Strange Journeys…a most UNUSUAL tour and had their inaugural tour on January 31, 2015. Within a few months they added a second tour, Shadows & Secrets…take a walk among the mists. After a few years of success, it was decided to move in a new direction. The first thought was a live radio show and then a podcast. As the idea evolved, it was decided to make this a “livestream” podcast using the online platform of Streamyard. The first ‘live’ show was a “Sneak Peak” on May 9, 2020 followed by the first official show on May 16, 2020, broadcasting every other Saturday.
