As we finished the livestream, I asked Lynn if she still wanted to go get our pedicures. Yes, I know it’s not a “manly” thing to do, but I’ve learned as you get older, especially men, need to take care of their feet. And, I’m not ashamed. I’ve actually come to enjoy it. That being said, one of my post show rituals, is to replay the livestream, watching for anything I may have missed or picking up on things I may need to correct for the next one.
As I was sitting there in the shop letting my feet soak, the technician asked what I was watching. I explained our livestream and the topic we were covering on that show. Interested, she begin to ask questions and we started a lively conversation about the strange and paranormal.
The owner of the shop was working with Lynn and he began to share a few Asian folklore stories stating that the paranormal and supernatural were readily accepted in Asian culture, especially reincarnation.
His sharing the story reminded me of a similar one I had shared in our recent livestream, Here We Go…Again! And, it got me to thinking about my ‘theories’ about reincarnation in general. Namely, is it REALLY the same life form coming back to live again, as is most commonly believed…or something different?
One of the primary tenets of our show is respect for individual beliefs so I am not setting out to ‘debunk’ any thoughts on reincarnation. Only asking questions about possiblities.
One experiencer has stated that when they “saw the bright light” at the time of their death, they also immediately realized that those same lights, were the bright lights of the delivery room where they were being born into their next life. As I’ve stated before, and quite often, one’s personal experience will never be questioned by me or any of our Executive Team.
However, I do have a couple of questions. I raised these during our show on reincarnation but wanted to ask them again in this format:
The experiencers of reincarnation have extremely detailed stories of a past life, so have they really lived before, OR
Have they connected with the spirit of that person and “channeling” that persons thoughts and memories? OR
Are they experiencing a ‘time-slip’ or ‘portal’ and experiencing a person’s life in the past?
I only ask the questions and cannot (and will not) speculate on the veracity of the experiencers statements. If they say they were reincarnated, then who am I to argue? But, I do ask the questions and lay out possibilities.
